Donut Grow Up, Lucas!

Today is Lucas's first birthday! I have been photographing him since he was born and his one year "cake smash" was just as fun as the other sessions, if not more. The theme for this session was 'Donut Grow Up' which is the perfect theme for a doughnut smash!

Obviously, someone was a very happy boy! He loved every minute of this fun session.

His first year was one to remember. There were a lot of adventures, and hanging out with his mom and dad was always another adventure in itself. We can all say that this boy was such a gift to us this year. His smile and laugh are absolutely contagious.

Making the baby announcement for his arrival was so much fun! Of course we had to grab everything from the fridge to be in this photo (also, pizza... enough said), and making it into a movie poster was the icing on the cake. Coming up with movie titles was hilarious and drove our point across. He ended up waiting until February was over to make his appearance, but we love the poster non the less.

Steph was such a beautiful pregnant lady, and Chris was getting really excited to be a dad.

Everyone gathered for his shower and showed his mom and dad so much love!

He stole our hearts with his big, beautiful eyes.

His mom had a lot of ideas from Pinterest and there were even some funny bloopers!

We even made a meme from his first trip to the pumpkin patch.

He loved everything about apple picking!

So suave laying in front of the fireplace at Christmas.

This boy loves Christmas almost as much as his mom does!

What a fantastic first year with this amazing little boy. I can't wait to photograph him at his birthday party this weekend!
